We recommend bringing your piece to our Abbotsford shop whenever that’s practical, since our state-of-the-art restoration equipment lives here and it’s usually the fastest way to get your furniture back. That said, we do take on onsite finishing for built-in furniture, large installations, and commercial jobs, discussed and scheduled case by case once we understand the scope.
Distance is rarely a reason to say no. It just helps us plan the visit or the pickup window properly, especially for larger commercial pieces or a full cabinet refacing job.

Abbotsford is home base, so it’s where we do the bulk of our hand-stripping, spray finishing, and custom cabinet work. Clients from Clearbrook, West Abbotsford, East Abbotsford, and out toward Mount Lehman and Bradner drop pieces at the shop regularly, and we’re just as comfortable quoting a kitchen refacing project as we are touching up a scratched antique dresser.
Surrey is one of our busiest service areas outside Abbotsford, with regular projects coming out of Guildford, Cloverdale, Fleetwood, and South Surrey. It’s about a 45-minute drive each way, which keeps turnaround times reasonable for both furniture drop-off and the occasional onsite touch-up.
From Kitsilano and Yaletown through Mount Pleasant, Fairview, and Kerrisdale, we work with a good mix of homeowners restoring older pieces and businesses in Gastown and Coal Harbour looking for custom woodwork that fits a tighter urban space. The drive is about an hour, so we plan Vancouver visits around larger jobs or a batch of pieces rather than a single small touch-up.
Richmond clients often come to us from Steveston, Broadmoor, and City Centre, and we’ve done our share of cabinet and custom woodworking projects for restaurants and hospitality spaces in the area. At roughly an hour from Abbotsford, Richmond sits alongside Vancouver as one of our farther regular stops, so we’re upfront about scheduling and travel logistics before a job is booked.
Chilliwack is a short trip for us, about 25 to 30 minutes down the highway, which makes it easy to fit in both shop drop-offs and onsite estimates for clients in Sardis, Vedder, and Promontory. We see a lot of antique restoration and faux finishing requests from this area alongside the standard refinishing work.
Mission is practically next door, just 15 minutes from our Abbotsford shop, so it’s one of the easiest areas for us to serve quickly whether that’s a same-week drop-off or a quick onsite look at a built-in piece. Clients from Downtown Mission, Cedar Valley, and Hatzic bring us everything from dresser touch-ups to full kitchen cabinet refacing.
Whistler is our longest regular trip at around 2.5 hours, and it’s almost always tied to commercial work for hospitality clients along the Sea-to-Sky corridor rather than a single piece of furniture. Onsite jobs here typically get scheduled as a dedicated visit, and we plan the timeline with the client well before we arrive so the work fits around their business.
